Patna — Jan Suraaj Party of Prashant Kishor on Thursday announced the names of three remaining candidates for the Bihar Legislative Council elections for eight seats - four each from the graduate and teachers' constituencies.
As expected, Jan Suraaj has fielded Anuj Singh from Patna graduate seat against threetime JD-U MLC Neeraj Kumar. Anuj Singh has been in news as JD-U MLA from Mokama, Anant Singh, has thrown his weight behind Anuj Singh and has been vocal against the party nominee.
Jan Suraaj has fielded Dr Vimohan Kumar from Tirhut Graduate seat and Dr Bhushan Jha from Tirhut Teacher Seat. The announcements were made by party state president Manoj Bharti.
However, the battle for Patna graduate seat has become interesting due to the in-fighting within the JD-U, which has

Jan Suraaj is in the fray for the first time and that could alter the equations.
The party had announced its first list of five candidates on September 20.
