Patna — From the two teachers' constituencies of Saran and Darbhanga, Anand Pushkar and Ghanshyam Rai have been fielded.
JID(U) state president Umesh Kushwaha said that the party would go to the voters with the significant work in the field of education and employment generation under the Nitish government, which the Samrat Choudhary government is now taking forward.
Of the eight seats. independents at present hold three seats,
BJP two, while one seat each ts with the JD(U), Congress and the CPI.
BJP is yet to announce its candidates, but both the sitting members of the party -- Nawal Kishor Yadav (Patna teachers" seat) and NK Yadav (Kosi graduate seat) -- are likely to be Tetained.
A new player, Jan Suraj Party of Prashant Kishor, has already announced candidates for five seats and three more are likely in the next few days, while RJD has fielded six candidates,
